昔、ピンクを着ているとなぜか・・・自信がつき気持ちが明るくなったことを今でも覚えています。
現在も、ピンクを着ると心がウキウキ。
お洒落してどこかに出掛けたくなります。
何年経っても、魅力的に感じ続けることのできるピンクには不思議なパワーが秘めているに違いないと・・・私は思っています。
そんな今回は「ピンクの服を着る理由」についてお話ししていきたいと思います。

I still remember now I felt more confident and brighter when I wore pink a long time ago.
Even now, wearing pink makes mu heart excited. I want to be fashionable and go out somewhere.

This time, I would like to talk about “reasons to wear pink clothes”.

・ピンクの歴史
ピンクとはいつからあるの？と思い調べてみましたが・・・歴史を遡ること約400年も前のお話し。
１７世紀、ピンクという色はまだ存在しておらず、ピンクのような色のことを「バラの色」と表現し、その後にバラ色のことを「ピンク色」という表現に変わっていきました。
Roseus(バラ)はピンクを意味するラテン語のようです。
その後、絵画でピンク色が使われることが増えていき、１８世紀、女性の時代と言われていたロココ調時代、美しくて知的なファッションリーダー、ポンパドゥール夫人がピンクの服を好んで着ていたことで、たちまちピンクの洋服がヨーロッパ全土で大流行しました。
１９世紀には、幼い男の子にはピンクの服、女の子にはブルーの服を着させることが一般的だったようです。
そんな常識が一転したのが1920年代に、アメリカの百貨店でピンクもブルーも女の子らしいとして、店舗ごとに自由に解釈し販売していたことがありました。
結果は、半々だったようですが、この出来事が性別ごとに着ていた色の定義が曖昧になったきっかけになったようです。
その後は、イタリアのデザイナーがショッキングピンクを生み出し、ファッション業界でも注目カラーに。
そして、ファーストレディーがピンクの服を着る、映画で人気女優がピンクの衣装を着る、雑誌やテレビで女性がピンクの服を着る。
そんなメディアの力によって「ピンクは女性らしい色」というイメージが徐々に定着していくのです。
現在でも、ピンクはそんなイメージを持たれている方が少なくないような・・・そんな気がしています。
History of Pink color
When did pink color come from? I thought about it and searched it but … a story about 400 years ago, going back in history.
In the 17th century, the color pink didn’t exist yet, the color like pink was expressed as “rose color” , and then the color of rose was changed to “pink”.
Roseus seems to be a Latin word, meaning pink.
After that, pink was used more and more in paintings, and in the 18th century, in the Rococo era, which was said to be the age of women, beautiful and intelligent fashion leader Madame de pompadour preferred to wear pink clothes. As a result, pink clothe quickly became popular all over Europe.
In the 19th century, it was common for young boys to wear pink clothes and for girls to wear blue clothes.
In the 1920s, that common sense changed, and at department stores in the United States, pink and blue were considered to girlish, and each store was free to interpret and sell them.
The result seems to be half and half, but it seems that this event triggered the ambiguous definition of the color worn by gender.
After that, an Italian designer created a shocking pink, which became a hot color in the fashion industry.

冒頭でもお話ししていますが「ピンク＝女性らしい」はメディアが作り上げてきたものにしか過ぎないと、私は感じました。
現代のアパレルショップのラインナップは、ジェンダーレスなものがスタンダードになってきていると同時に、カラーも同じです。
そもそも「〇〇らしい」「〇〇しか着られない」という言葉が違和感であって、今っぽくないと思います。
むしろ、ピンクを着る男性は優しく穏やかで、お洒落に敏感であり、女性の気持ちに共感することが出来るひと。
そんな良い印象を受けることの方が多いのではないでしょうか。
現代は、ジェンダーレスで思いきりピンクを着て楽しむことが当たり前のことであり、本来あるべき姿なのだと思います。

In the first place, the words “like XX” and “only XX can be worn” are uncomfortable, and I don’t think they look like they are now .
Rather, men who wear pink are kind and gentle, sensitive to fashion, and can sympathize with the feelings of women.

先日、S N Sで「ヴァレンティノ」の2023秋冬コレクションの動画を見ました。
全身ピンクの洋服に身を包み、靴や鞄もピンク、メイクもピンク、会場も洋服と同化するほどのピンク。
端から端まで驚くほど全てピンクの空間でした。
しかし決して派手さではなく、洗練された美しさ中に、ピンクに秘めたる力強さみたいなものを感じました。
ピンクは、着るひとのフィーリングに寄り添いながらも、着るひとの魅力を最大限に引き出すことのできる、パワーに満ち溢れた色だと思います。
そして、現代のピンクの服はジェンダーレスであり平等なもの。

The other day, I watched a video of “Valentino” AW 2023 collections on SNS.
The whole boys is dressed in pink clothes, shoes and bags are also pink, makeup is pink, and the venue is pink enough to be assimilated with clothes.
It was a surprisingly pink space from end to end.
But, it was not flashy at all, and I felt something like the power hidden in pink in the refined beauty.
I think pink is a color full of power that can bring out the best in the wearer’s charm while being close to the wearer’s feelings.
And modern pink clothes are genderless and equal.
It may be the reason why you want to wear pink clothes because it makes you feel happy and positive no matter who wears it.
