はんなり暮らし⑫～京都ブランド『SOU・SOU』～

こんにちは！今日は京都アパレルブランドのSOU・SOUさんについて少し書かせていただきます。
京都の街中を見かけるとぽつりぽつりとこちらのブランドを身に着けている方をお見掛けすることがあるのではないのでしょうか？最近では、新型コロナウィルスの影響でお洒落マスクとして身につけられている方が多いと思うのですが。


Hello! Today I would like to talk about SOU・SOU, which is an apparel brand in Kyoto.
When you walk around the streets in Kyoto, you might see people who wear this brand.These days, I think that many people wear it as a fashionable mask due to the influence of new coronavirus.

SOU・SOUさんとは
日本の四季や風情をポップに表現したテキスタイルデザインを製作する京都のブランド。『新しい日本文化の創造』をコンセプトに、伝統的な素材や技法を積極的に用いながらも、現代のライフスタイルに寄り添うものづくりを展開されており、地下足袋や和服、和菓子など、多岐にわたるアイテムを製作・販売されているブランドです。

特徴的なのは、この数字の模様！！


What is “SOU・SOU” ?
It is a brand from Kyoto, which produces pop textile designs that express the four seasons and atmosphere in Japan.Based on the concept “creating a new Japanese culture”, while actively using traditional materials and techniques, it is developing manufacturing related to a modern lifestyle, and it is a brand that manufactures and sells a wide variety of items such as Jikatabi, Japanese clothes and Japanese sweets.

The feature is the pattern of these numbers ! !

SOU・SOUを始められる時に、メーカー名を言わないでも、わかるような文様（例えばルイ・ヴィトンのモノグラムやバーバリーのチェック等）を作ろうと思われて、このテキスタイルデザインを作られたそうです。なぜSOU・SOUさんについて今日は書いているかと言うと。私のブログテーマの一つ・伝統というテーマに合うと思ったので書かせていただいております。SOU・SOUさんは日本の伝統的な部分を随所にブランドに取り入れられていて、日本の古き良き物を現代の洋服へと落とし込んでおり、例えば足袋などもお洒落に地下足袋シューズとして作られており洋服に合わせてコーディネートしても楽しめるように作られているのです。


When they started SOU・SOU, this textile design was made because they wanted to make a pattern that people could understand without saying the maker’s name like Louis Vuitton Monogram and Burberry check pattern. The reason why I am talking about SOU・SOU is because I think it fits one of my blog themes, which is the theme of tradition. SOU・SOU had adopted traditional Japanese parts into everywhere in the brand and incorporated good old things into modern clothes. For example, socks are fashionably made as jikatabi shoes and it is made so that you can enjoy it even if you coordinate it with your clothes.

SOU・SOUさんを知ったのは、私が愛する旦那様が仕事柄、足袋を年中履いているものでして、足袋の靴下を休日でもこよなく愛して履いているため、休日のお出かけの時に足元からもお洒落を楽しんで欲しいと思い、足袋ソックスを探していたところSOU・SOUさんを見つけたのです。足袋ソックスを購入してから皮切りに、今では洋服も購入し、手ぬぐいや、ギフトなどでもお世話になっています。


My beloved husband wears socks all year round for work and he likes wearing tabi socks even on holidays. I thought that I wanted him to enjoy fashion from his feet when he went outside on holidays ,so I was looking for tabi socks for him and found SOU・SOU.Since I have bought tabi socks, I have gotten clothes and towels as gifts now.
