夏になると服装がシンプルになりがちな私ですが、そんな時に使いたくなるのがスカーフです。
スカーフがあると、コーディネートが映え、肌寒い時には肩や首に巻き温度調節ができて、日除けにもなってくれます。
時にはファッションアイテムのように使用することで、デイリースタイルのワンランク上のお洒落が楽しめます。
様々に姿を変え、華やかさを出してくれるスカーフ。
そんな今回は「お洒落なスカーフの楽しみ方」のお話しをしていきたいと思います。

I tend to wear simple clothes in the summer and want to use a scarf in such a case.

・スカーフの歴史

スカーフの歴史はとても古く、古代ローマ時代にまで遡ります。
最初のスカーフはリネン素材。ファッションで使用する目的ではなく、汚れや汗を拭うものとして使われていたようです。
当時は、身分によって素材の違うスカーフを身に付けていたとも言われています。
１９世紀から男性がネクタイとして使用するようになり、その後は女性にもファッションアイテムとしてスカーフが広がっていきます。
この時代のスカーフは、贅沢の象徴としてシルク素材が好まれ、世界的アイコン達がプライベートファッションに取り入れたり映画で使用したりすることで、人気のファッションアイテムになっていきました。

・スカーフの魅力

ファッションのイメージが強いスカーフ。実は・・・ファッション以外で使用することも。
1956年、グレース・ケリーが腕を負傷した際にエルメスのスカーフをアームスリングとして腕を支える写真を見ましたが、そんなお洒落な使い方もあるんだな・・・と驚きました。
そして現代は、マスクが息苦しい時や忘れてしまった時に、口元で巻きお洒落なマスクとして使用したり、季節の変わり目の温度調節に肩や首元に巻いたり。
お洒落で機能的なアイテムとして大活躍してくれます。
そしてファッション以外の使い方としてインテリアにもなってくれるスカーフ。
壁に飾るウォールデコとして映え、フラワーベースに巻いてお洒落なインテリアとして楽しむこともできます。
スカーフは、ライフスタイルの中で気軽に気分の上がるアイテムとして変化し、暮らしに花を添え、物の付加価値を与えてくれる、そんななくてはならない存在だと感じました。

・スカーフアレンジを楽しもう

スカーフは、今も昔もスタイルアイコンから愛され、ファッションには欠かせない必須アイテムになっています。
今回は、私がおすすめするスカーフアレンジをご紹介していきます。

１、ヘッドスカーフ
帽子のように頭をすっぽり覆って巻く、太めのヘアバンドのようにして巻く、スカーフを三角にして頭を覆い顎の下で結ぶ真知子巻きなど、様々なお洒落が楽しめます。
２、ネックスカーフ
定番の首に巻くスタイルですが、巻き方や場所をいつもと違う感じにするのが今っぽい。
首にネックレスをしているかのように緩く巻いたり、三角に折りセーラーカラーのように巻いてみたり、タスキみたいに斜めに巻くのも新鮮でおすすめです。　　　
３、ブレスレットスカーフ
スカーフを手首にラフに巻きつける。
それだけでシンプルで個性的なお洒落が楽しめます。
４、バックハンドルスカーフ
あの有名アイコン、ジェーン・バーキンが自身のカゴバックのハンドルにスカーフを巻いてアレンジしていたのは有名なお話し。
カゴバックは勿論、どんなバッグに巻いても簡単でお洒落に変化すること間違いなしのアレンジです。
５、スカーフビスチェ
シンプルなTシャツスタイルの時、スカーフを胸元に巻くだけで簡単お洒落なビスチェスタイルが楽しめます。
６、スカーフバック
ちょっとそこまでお買い物に行こう。そんな時に手持ちのスカーフの対角線の端を結ぶだけでお洒落なバックに大変身。
買い物が終わるとまたスカーフとして使えるアイデアアイテムです。
