昨今、ファッションとアートのコラボをよく目にするようになりました。
私はファッションのデザインで、プリントものがあまり好きではないのですが、アートがプリントされている商品だけはすごく魅力的に感じます。不思議です、、、。
そんな今回は「ファッションとアート」を掘り下げて考え、「ファッションとアートのコラボの魅力」を探っていきたいと思います。

Nowadays, I often see collaboration between fashion and art.
In fashion designs, I don’t relay like printed things, but only the products with art printed on them are very attractive. It’s weird.
This time, I would like to delve into “fashion and art” and explore “charm of collaboration between fashion and art.”

・ファッションとアートとは

「ファッション」は、流行、服装・装飾すること。
流行や自分を表現する手段の一つがファッションだと思います。
「アート」は、芸術・美術のこと。
自分が作りたいものを作ることを意味します。


What is fashion and art?

“Fashion” is fashion like a trend, clothes and decoration.
I think fashion is one of the ways to express trends and yourself.
“Art” is a fine art.
It means making what you want to make,

・ファッションとアートの関係性

ファッションとアートは、似た側面を持っています。
それは「自己表現」ということ。
ファッション、アートどちらも、自己表現するための方法の一つなのです。
ただ、ファッションには流行があるので、アートとは少し違う側面もあります。
ファッションとアートは近いようで、少しだけ遠い関係性なのかもしれません。


Relationship between fashion and art

Fashion and art have similar aspects.
That is “self- expression.”
Both fashion and art are one way to express yourself.
However, because fashion has trends, there are some aspects that are a little different from art.
The relationship between fashion and art seem to be close, but may be a little far.

昨今、ファッションとアートがコラボした商品を、大手アパレル企業が続々と発売して話題になっていますね。
私は、ファッションとアートのコラボ商品を身に付けると「流行ファッションを着ている」という感覚にはなりません。
私の場合は、人からどう思われるか気にするファッションはもう卒業しました。
今は、自分が好きと思えるものを着たいと思っています。
アートに込められた、魂や情熱、メッセージ性を感じるデザインは「飽きのこないお気に入りの一着」になっています。


Collaboration between fashion and art

Recently, major apparel companies have been selling products in collaboration with fashion and art one after another, which has become a hot topic.
When I wear a collaboration item of fashion and art, I don’t feel like “I’m wearing fashionable clothes.”
In my case, I’ve already graduated from fashion, which cares about what people think.
Now I want to wear what I like.
The design that feels the soul, passion, and message in the art has become a “timeless favorite one.”

ファッションとは、流行を取り入れた服装のこと。
アートとは、アーティストが作り上げる、不易流行な芸術や美術のこと。

この２つの共通点は「自己表現」です。

ファッションとは「流行」が必要で、アートは流行ではなく「不易流行」が必要です。
どちらも「流行」の文字が入っているので、意味はそう大きくは違いません。
「不易」とは「いつまでも変わらないこと」を意味します。

流行は日々変化して流れていきますが、不易流行とは、時代に応じて変化していきながらもいつまでも変わらないことを意味します。
「流行に流されず、自分らしいファッションを楽しみたい」というニーズに沿った商品が、ファッションとアートのコラボ商品なのかもしれませんね。
今までなら、有名画家が描いたアートは敷居が高く、取っ付きにくいと感じる人も多かったのではないでしょうか。
しかし昨今は気軽にS N Sで多くのアートを目にする機会も増え、アートを身近に感じるようになってきました。
そして、ファッションとアートには繋がりも多く、ファッションが好きな人はアートも好きで、アートが好きな人はファッションも好きな人が多いと、よく耳にします。

Fashion needs “trends”, and art needs “mixture of unchangeability and openness to new changing things”, not trends.
Both of them have the word “fashionable” in them, so the meaning is not so different.
“eternal” means “never change.”

Trends change day by day, but eternal trends mean that they change with the times but never change.
A product that meets the needs of “I want to enjoy my own fashion without being affected by trends” may be a collaboration product of fashion and art.
Until now, the art drawn by famous painters has high thresholds, and many people may find it difficult to approach.
But, nowadays, I have more chances to see lots of art on SNS, and I feel closer to art,
And there are many connections between fashion and art, and I often hear that people who like fashion also like art, and people who life art also like fashion.
