コロナ禍でstay homeの時間が長くなり、外にお出掛けする機会が減って、大好きなお洒落ができず、気持ちがブルーになっている方も多いのではないでしょうか。私もそんな気持ちです。
そこで先日、外になかなか出れないので、もうせっかくならお家でお洒落してみようと思い、やってみたところ、意外と気分も上がり、少し気持ちが晴れやかになりました。
そこで今回は、お家で体も心も気持ちよく着れる、お洒落とリラックスを兼ね備えた“ニット”にスポットを当ててご紹介していきます。
皆様に晴れやかな気持ちになっていただけるお手伝いになればと思います。今回は、ニットの中でも家使いに最適な、定番的に永く着れる、伝統的なデザインのニットをご紹介します。
Since people have to stay at home due to the covid-19 pandemic and don’t have many chances to go outside, I think that there are many people who cannot be dressed up and are feeling blue at home. I am feeling like that as well.
The other day, I tried to get dressed up at home because I couldn’t often go outside, and it made me feel better and brightened me up.

“アランニット”定番のアランニットは持っている方も多いのでは？
アランニットの歴史は古く、1970年代に寒さの厳しいアイルランドのフィッシャーマンが着る仕事服として登場しました。
その厳しい環境の中で労動する男性達の為に、各家庭で手作りされていたセーター。
アイルランドのアラン諸島で誕生した、アランニット。
アランニットの編み方の種類は、ケーブル、トリニティステッチ、ハニカム、ダイヤモンドなどが有名です。
1950年代にデザイナー達が着目して、アランニットが広まったとされています。

Aran knitwear has a long history and appeared as work clothes worn by Fishermen in the very cold country, Ireland in the 1970s.
The sweater was handmade at home for men who worked in harsh environments.
And Aran knitwear seems to be made in the Aran islands in Ireland first.
Well-known ways of knitting for Aran knitwear include, Cable, Trinity stitch, Honeycomb, and Diamond.
It is said that Aran knitwear become widespread in the 1950s since designers paid attention to it.

“セーラーカラーニット”
今年は大きめ襟のアイテムをよく目にします。その中でもセーラーカラーアイテムが私の中のオススメ。セーラー服は1857年にイギリス海軍の作業用の服として用いられました。
その後はヨーロッパの多くの学校が制服にし、20世紀に入ると婦人服のニューアイテムとして人気が出ました今でも昔と変わらない大きな襟のデザインですが、襟の大きさ、ニットの素材感などでフェミニンなイメージから、カジュアルでクールなイメージまで幅広く合わせれるデザインだと思います。

Sailor Collar KnitwearI have often seen items with large collars this year.Among them, I highly recommend the sailor collar items.Sailor-style suits were wore as work clothes by the British Royal Navy in 1857.

“カウチンニット”
カナダに住む「カウチン族」が狩猟の際に着ていたニット。脱色や染色をしていない羊毛が使用されています。
ローゲージ編みのニットで、伝統的な動物柄が編み込まれているのが特徴的です。サイズ感は、オーバーサイズをダボッと着るのがオススメ。
カウチンニットのカラーは、羊毛その物のカラーが使われている事が多く、グレー、ブラウン、アイボリーなどのナチュラルカラーが多いです。
